Stepping Stones is a hand-carved Colorado Yule Marble bowl from the Liberty Collection, exploring the point where sculptural form and everyday function meet. This piece emerged from a challenging block marked by an existing drill hole and irregular edges. Rather than work around those flaws, the design embraces them, forming two shallow bowls joined by a graceful arch. The result is a slender, balanced sculpture that displays beautifully with thoughtful lighting.
Lightweight and easy to move, Stepping Stones works equally well as sculpture or vessel—ideal for fruit, shells, or natural objects. The marble is sealed with an Italian impregnating sealant, making it durable and easy to clean.
